News released today after the AGM reveals that Jamie Moffat has written off the “soft loan” of £2m to KFC. The condition being that the club find another guarantor for £200,000 for the bank. Michael Johnston implied that the outstanding soft loan was the barrier to other investors coming forward.
It’s worth reiterating that every Killie fan will feel immense gratitude to the Moffats, who have supported the club to a great degree and kept us in the top flight of Scottish football all these years. Let’s hope the next custodian will be at least as generous. Thanks Jamie.
